Think about your self-awareness. Reflect on the actions you take for jobs, business and money. Are you who you want to be? Do you live your own essence or someone else’s identity? Do your values match your actions? Do you actually experience your freedom? Can you see the intentions behind their actions? Both are aligned, do they make sense?
The point is that, for most people, nothing has become more intense and exciting than the experience with money. As a result, in the same vein, jobs and business have also become intense and exciting experiences. Sometimes, it is instinct that is in charge, via predatory competition, exploitation and flexible ethics.
The only way to calm such voracity is to seek an inner experience that is as stimulating as money. Or even more! The statement is risky, but boldness is worth it, without fear of making mistakes! Spirituality is this experience. Attention, do not confuse the word with religiosity.
Spirituality is present when you are guided by your values and virtues. When it produces riches with meaning and purpose. When there is learning and growth, inner strength, dignity and respect, for others and for yourself.
When there is enough self-love to offer to others. When you are the human being who creates your own world, of everything you think and feel.
Spirituality in the economy, in business and at work is about making money – whether as an employee or entrepreneur – without losing peace of mind.
